S&A’s roots stem back to the [1930s]. Our founder established Vegetation Surveys, Inc. in Northborough, Massachusetts, pioneering vegetation-indication leak survey — one of the earliest systematic methods of finding underground gas leaks. In 1967, the company became Surveys & Analysis, Inc. to reflect modern instrumented survey techniques.
